World Social Work Day
The first World Social Work Day was celebrated in 2007 under the theme “Social Work - Making a World of Difference”, and 17 years later we celebrate World Social Work Day 2024 with the theme ‘Buen Vivir: Shared Future for Transformative Change’. In this podcast we hear from two Social Workers, Eve Curtis from Jewish Care, and Nicole Valens from the Association of Jewish Refugees, about why they think it’s a wonderful career despite the challenges in the world of adult social care.
